Relive the Dead Experience!
As shows go this was not one of their best but was solid nonetheless with pockets of sheer awesomeness (apologies for making up a word) while the setlist had a few low points (for me at least) as well. They strayed from their usual practice of performing an entire show from the Dead's archives to perform a show of songs of their own choosing including several covers. One of the chosen covers however rocked the house with a rousing version of Dylan's Tangled Up in Blues. Whether you liked the selections or not, DSO gives their all with 3 1/2 hours of solid jamming ending past midnight. Even the drum solo was particularly rocking with a guest percussionist. All in All, DSO simply lets you relive the Dead experience better than any tribute band out there. Well done boys! (and thanks).
